What personal data SOLO holds, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and your rights over it.
Who is responsible
Smart Operations & Logistics Orchestration, LLC, doing business as SOLO is the controller of the personal data in your SOLO account. For your customers' and followers' data that your shop holds, you are the controller and SOLO processes it on your behalf.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, name, password (stored only as a one-way hash) and two-step sign-in details (stored encrypted).
Business data: the settings, rules and connections you give SOLO, the products, posts, adverts and orders it handles, and the books it keeps.
Billing data: your plan and its status. Stripe holds your card; SOLO never sees or stores your card number.
Security records: sign-ins and important account changes, kept in an audit log.
Accounts you connect
When you connect Shopify, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok or a supplier, SOLO receives an access token from that service, limited to the permissions you approve on its own page. Tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown, logged or shared.
From TikTok, SOLO reads only your account’s basic profile (its id, handle and display name) and the permission to publish posts you approve or switch on. It does not read your followers, messages or other accounts.
SOLO uses these connections only to do what you have asked of your agents — publishing your shop’s posts, listing products, running adverts within your budget — and never to sell, profile or advertise to you.
You can disconnect any account at any time from the service itself (for TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions; for Meta: Settings → Business integrations), or ask us at support@gowithsolo.com and we will delete SOLO’s token for it. Deleting your SOLO account deletes them all.
Why we use it
To provide SOLO under our contract with you; to keep accounts secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interest); to bill you and keep tax records (legal obligation); and to send you account and billing emails.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
Service providers who process data for us: Stripe (payments), Postmark (email), Anthropic (Claude, for the agents), Google Cloud (pictures and video), Cloudflare (video storage), and the hosting provider that runs SOLO.
Services you connect and direct SOLO to act on: Shopify, Meta, TikTok and your supplier.
Some of these process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires, transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
While your account is open. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data 30 days later (giving you time to change your mind). Invoices and financial records are kept as long as tax law requires, without your name on the account.
Your rights
You can download everything we hold about your account, and delete your account, from Settings → Your data. You may also ask us to correct your data, restrict or object to its use, and, depending on where you live, exercise further rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law (CCPA/CPRA). You will not be treated differently for exercising them.
You can complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit; credentials and authenticator secrets are encrypted at rest; every account uses two-step sign-in; payments are handled by Stripe. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
